Buy the Sabrina Skirt sewing pattern from BF Patterns. Sabrina is a beginner-friendly gathered skirt with thoughtful details and a soft, romantic feel. Suggested fabrics: The Sabrina skirt works well in a variety of lightweight woven fabrics. Look for something opaque, with a relaxed drape, like breezy cotton lawn, batiste, poplin, or lightweight linen and linen blends. For the optional lining, choose something smooth and breathable like cotton voile, lightweight viscose, or silk habotai.
Fabric requirements: Fabric requirements are based on cutting flat to minimise fabric consumption. If cutting on the fold, you will require more fabric.
Self: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.6 - 4.4 yd (2.4 - 4 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.6 - 4.4 yd (2.4 - 4 m).
Lining short (optional): 45"-54" (114-137 cm) wide fabric: 1.2 - 1.4 yd (1.1 - 1.3 m).
