Buy the Clementine Pinafore and Dress sewing pattern from Sew Over It. Fitted with princess seams at the front and back, Clementine is a highly customisable pattern.

In Version 1, the princess seams continue into a mini skirt with no waist seam, and pockets are constructed into the front seams. This version is perfect for heavier fabrics such as denim and corduroy.

If you prefer a waist seam, make Version 2 with a gathered panelled skirt that hits just below the knee and includes a front split. This version is perfect for lighter needlecord fabrics and even a cotton poplin for warmer weather.

Both versions are finished with an adjustable buckle detail at the back and an invisible zip on the side, and both can be made as a sleeveless pinafore for layering or as a standalone dress with long sleeves.

Suggested fabrics: Clementine can be made in a range of fabrics, depending on the version you're making. Version 1 is especially suited to medium weight denims, corduroys, canvases and twills. If you'd like to use a lighter weight denim or needlecord, this will work better for Version 2.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6-20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18-30 size range is drafted for a D cup.
